It is a large 8" burner and has a "Y" style bracket. The specifications are 2100 watts, 240 volts, 5 turns. The number of turns is the number of times the coil is wound once. If the stove burner will not sit flat on the stovetop, make sure the attachment bolts are parallel and pushed down a little. The surface elements of the whirl-pool burner replacement have a nickel-chromium content of up to 85%, providing more even and consistent heat to the cooking zone at the top of the hearth

It only takes a few minutes to remove the screws, pull out the old element, install the new element, and put the screws back in. MP21YA Stove Burner Element has a protective coating on it to protect the surface. When the burner element is used for the first time, the protective coating will evaporate a little smoke at high temperatures, this is normal. The customer will continue to use the stove burner for about 20 minutes and it will not smoke. NOTE: Always unplug the burner or turn off the circuit breaker before installation
